Potato Spinach(Aloo Palak)
Potato spinach(Aloo Palak) is a traditional and very popular Punjabi recipe.This dish is prepared with potatoes and spinach, cooked with tantalizing and aromatic spices giving it a perfect zest .
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- 2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp asafetida
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2 medium Potato
- 2 bunch Spinach chopped
- Salt as per taste
- 2 tbsp Oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, ginger garlic paste, and add potatoes.
- Cook covered potatoes till it starts to get lightly brown from edges.
- Add turmeric, spinach,keep the lid open cook for some time in a medium flame
- Add chilly powder, coriander powder, salt, cook for 3 minutes, and switch off the flame.
- Hot and Delicious Aloo palak is ready to be served with Phulkas/Roti,rice.
