Black Chickpeas Kebab
Vegetarian version of shammi kabab made with black chickpeas (kala chana). … veg shammi kabab recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Black Chickpeas boiled or soaked overnight
- 4-5 cloves
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 stick Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Garlic finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Chick Pea Powder (chana masala)
- 1/2 tsp Ginger Juliennes
- 1 slice Whole Wheat Bread
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
- 3 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 1 tbsp gram flour
- 1 tsp chopped cilantro
- Salt to taste
- 1tbsp Oil
Instructions
- Add black chickpeas, chana masala, salt, cloves, cinnamon, red chili powder, Black pepper, garlic, ginger, bread slice and little water in a blender and prepare a thick paste for kebabs.
- Add chopped onion,cilantro and gram flour(to make dough consistency).
- Make round kebabs with the mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the kebabs till brown on both sides.
- Black chickpeas kebabs are ready ,serve hot with cilantro and mint dip.
