Lemon Garlic Asparagus
Add zing to your asparagus by roasting them with lemon and garlic. Lemon Garlic Roasted Asparagus are a simple and delicious side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 Tsp of mustard seeds
- 1 Tbsp of Vegetable Oil
- 1 lb of Asparagus trimmed and cut into 2" pieces
- 4 Cloves of Garlic minced
- 1-1/2 Tbsp of Soy Sauce or more to taste optional
- 1/2 tsp of Toasted Sesame Oil
- lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the mustard seeds and toast them a little.
- Now,increase the heat to high, add the oil and allow it to get nice and hot. Add the asparagus and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the garlic, cook for 1 minute, add the soy sauce and sesame oil, saute for about 10 seconds and remove from the heat.
- Add lemon juice and zest if you like the flavor.
- Add asparagus to your serving dish and sprinkle over the toasted sesame seeds.(optional)
