Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tsp of mustard seeds
  • 1 Tbsp of Vegetable Oil
  • 1 lb of Asparagus trimmed and cut into 2" pieces
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic minced
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp of Soy Sauce or more to taste optional
  • 1/2 tsp of Toasted Sesame Oil
  • lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the mustard seeds and toast them a little.
  • Now,increase the heat to high, add the oil and allow it to get nice and hot. Add the asparagus and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the garlic, cook for 1 minute, add the soy sauce and sesame oil, saute for about 10 seconds and remove from the heat.
  • Add lemon juice and zest if you like the flavor.
  • Add asparagus to your serving dish and sprinkle over the toasted sesame seeds.(optional)
